Being an innovative and creative person, I wanted my first collection to be fun, refreshing, and different when compared to current existing brands. My fashion ideas come from my surroundings and influences I see online and in my environment. Admiring Japanese Anime film is what sparked the idea to incorporate that style onto my clothing for collection one.
The collection, Away from home, means to be lost and out of your usual comfort zone. Doing something because of a gut feeling, compulsively and head first.
The graphic of Away From Home is a hidden story of an Earth Angel known as, "The Angelic Earthling". He enters another planet that’s not his. He’s lost and doesn’t know how to get back, but he meets someone. Someone that isn’t from the same world. A connection forms, but he doesn’t understand how or why. Now he’s conflicted and doesn’t know what to do. Should he stay AWAY FROM HOME, or go back home. We will find out more to the story as the brand continues to grow and develop.
